ESCONF 2008" will be expanded with the addition of the new matchmaking platform "eSports-Connection". The eSports-Connection is established in order to enable the important names of the domestic and international eSports teams to meet with companies interested in promoting their products and the media. In this way, partners can get into talks, enlarge their networks and present projects and businesses, as well as initiate deals.Each talk lasts twenty minutes. Hence, “eSports-Connection” makes it possible for the attendants, to exchange ideas and thoughts with several partners in a short period of time.

The eSports-Connection takes place on the first day of ESCONF (May, 27^th) from 3pm to 7pm. Discussions and talks are provided a zoned area, rendering a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The host, Global Games Media, is in charge of the coordination of the debates and appoints each participant with an individual schedule. Interested teams, communities, businesses and media representatives may apply directly to the host for the „eSports-Connection” until the 30^th of April (Carsten Kohlenbeck).
